Dental Clinic Center for Disabled is opened at 7th floor. Bill establishing Kyungpook National University Dental Hospital (KNUDH) is passed by the Hospital Board. The steering committee is organized for the independence of KNUDH as a separate public corporation from the KNUH.

100th Anniversary Conference is held to celebrate the founding of the Department of Dentistry in the Daegu Jahye Hospital, the antecedent hospital of KNUDH. Evaluated by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korean Dental Hospital Association. New dental hospital building is constructed and eight departments of clinical dentistry moved in. Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery admissions and the Dental Emergency Room remain in the KNUH main hospital.

Department of Orthodontics moves to the 10th floor of the new Out Patient Clinic Building. Student Clinic is opened at the second floor of the fifth Hospital Building. KNUH is reformed as a public corporation. The Department of Dentistry with eight divisions of clinical dentistry is reorganized as the Dental Hospital (KNUDH) with eight departments of clinical dentistry. Prof. Sung, Jae-Hyun is inaugurated as the first Director of the KNUDH. Orthognatic Surgery Clinic opened.

Reorganized as Kyungpook National University Hospital (KNUH) from the affiliated Hospital of the College of Medicine, Kyungpook National University. Department of Dentistry is relocated at the second floor of the Fifth Hospital Building. In addition to the eight divisions of clinical dentistry, the Central Dental Laboratory and Dental Reception & Records Room are in operation. Eight divisions of clinical dentistry are officially approved by the University Hospital and eight chairmen were appointed. According to the Facility Expansion Project, the second dental clinic is opened on the fourth floor of the College of Dentistry building. Division of Oral Diagnosis, Division of Oral Surgery, Division of Conservative Dentistry, Division of Prosthodontics are located at the third floor of the Outpatient Clinic Building, while Division of Dental Radiology is located at the second floor of the building. Division of Periodontology, Division of Orthodontics and Division of Pediatric Dentistry are located at fourth floor of the building of the College of Dentistry. Seven dentists who finished the internship are selected for the residency in eight divisions of clinical dentistry.

The first graduation (27 students). The Department of Dentistry of the Graduate School founded (Master course). College of Dentistry is established (Prof. Lee, Yeoll-Hee inaugurated as the First Dean). Dental clinic of two rooms with two unit chairs is installed with the help of UNKRA Aids. Reorganized as the Affiliated Hospital of the College of Medicine, Kyungpook National University. The Department of Dentistry includes eight divisions of clinical dentistry. Clinical dental education for dental students begins in the dental clinic. Eight new dentists are selected for the internship of eight divisions of clinical dentistry, one for each division.
